Today after school we checked Maia’s wiggly teeth. One was dangling sideways barely hanging on so Mom helped it out. With a small pluck we pulled Maia’s first tooth. She was excited and scared all at once seeing a little blood and not knowing what to do with her tooth. Mom gave her some salt water to swish upstairs in the bathroom and as she came down the stairs she said, “I still have the same voice even though my tooth fell out.” So cute. Later after bathtime Maia carefully put her tooth in her tooth fairy pillow and put it by her pillow. Josie vowed to stay up all night to see 1) how the Tooth Fairy would fly into the room 2) how big she was. Maia decided it would be best to go right to sleep. It’s been an exciting few days with first steps and first visits from the Tooth Fairy!
