The little things
At fifteen months Willa’s personality is certainly budding. I love that she watches her sisters carefully & lovingly, she mimics me when I talk to them, she loves to give big “mwhaa” kisses, she squeezes so tight when I pick her up, she still smiles with her eyes & now with her super cute toothy smile, she screams with joy when her Dad comes home from work, she loves to dress up & twirl, she loves to be outside, she’s getting into everything in our house these days, she loves to stack cups in the bath when she’s not playing mermaids, she loves to ride scooters just like the older girls, she likes to push her belly button, she has her eyes on me wherever I am (behind a camera or in the room), she loves shoes (girls’ shoes mostly), she loves to read books and above all that she is a happy girl that stops for the little things. She is a special girl.

Dinosaur puppet theater
This week both Maia and Josie have been working on background scenes to showcase mini plays they’ve created with all of their dinosaur artwork. After using much string, lots of tape, a rainbow of markers, a couple of sheets of construction paper + a boatload of ingenuity the show was ready. There were four, but I’m only remembering the names of two – The Marrying Day and The Story Speaker. Good job, girls. Pretty cool stuff.
